The race tickets include entry for three days, so it seems people stay there over night usually. Maybe hotels and camping at the track (like at the Nürburgring). As all tickets include concert entry as well, the organizers have to be prepared for 45,000 people showing up at the gig! I think Per meant that the grandstands at the concert area are for 8-9,000 people. But there should be enough ground space for the rest...
