Åsa Gessle – In love

Åsa Gessle has created a collection of lamps called “In Love” with a clear message of peace. On the lamp can be found a sign stating “Make love, not war” with a small peace symbol. The designer has been inspired by the fact that this year is 50 years since peace symbol began its triumphal journey around the world.

Vikunja – The second supporting act for Halmstad concert

Vicunja, a band from Halmstad, was founded in 2006 and consists of Alex Hansson (vocals), Johan Israelsson (guitar), Joakim Persson (bass) and Martin Larsson (drums). After appearances in Nalen in Stockholm and at the Peace & Love festival in Borlänge Vicunja released a video for the song “Some People“.

Theirs music has been described as a cross between ABBA and Nirvana.

2010 FIFA World Cup best goalkeeper is Roxette fan

Iker Casillas is a World Cup-winning Spanish football goalkeeper who plays for the Spanish club Real Madrid and serves as captain for the Spanish national team. In 2010 he captained the national team that won Spain’s first ever FIFA World Cup and the Golden Glove Award for the tournament’s best goalkeeper.

In this very short interview for Spanish Tele 5 TV he admitted (?) that he liked (?) Roxette.
