“She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)” Possible Release Problems?

Concern has been raised by Roxette fans in the UK that the digital release of “She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)” single has disappeared from sale at Amazon UK. At this moment in time, we are waiting a response from Roxette’s management on why this could have happened. The single never appeared for sale on iTunes UK, but HMV Digital in the UK is still selling the single (but only the a-side) as are Play.Com.

It seems the single (including the “B-Side”) has also been pulled from sale at Amazon Germany as well! The single song is still available though.

Thanks to David Carmon for informing us of the problem in the UK this morning and Volker for the information on Amazon.de

  1. EMI’s support seems to be poor all over the place. Even on the German Site the latest “news” is that the Night Of The Proms has started. The new single, upcoming album and the Tour are not mentioned at all. Marketing Fail 🙁

I’ve already contacted to aks what that was all about.

  2. @the_rain The research was done properly… I was talking about the single (as in a & b-sides rather than just ‘SGNO(BTR)’. Sorry if this was confusing!

To be honest the song disappearing from sales just goes to show how poor communication is with the artists and EMI! The whole situation makes no sense at all… 🙁

  3. I simply have no idea what is going on. I have managed today (6pm GMT) to download both songs from HMV Digital in the UK. But seriously, what is going on?

  4. This is really strange…

Could this be EMI suddenly deciding to release a different single instead? Or maybe something went wrong with the video and they have to wait until everything is ready to start proper marketing actions?

haha marketing actions, now I’m having a laugh attack at work hahaha
