In the latest Swedish Radio interview for Svensktoppen chart show, Per Gessle informed that Roxette would perfom in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia next year – no specific places were given. Per talked about the current world tour, new album Tourism 2 and projects he is involved in.

Nice to hear that the tour is stil growing with different countries. 🙂 In the end it may even beat the C!B!B!Tour, who would have thought that! Any interesting bits about the new album and the “other projects”?
This tour is bigger than anything Roxette have done before. As for other parts of the interview – it was standard small talk. The only interesting thing I missed was Per describing his attitude during writting of “Speak to me” as “little church” or whatever he meant with that.
2 new albums in a year and the biggest Roxette tour ever – who would have thought this would be happening in their fifties? It’s a miracle 🙂
It’s kind of funny.
I remember a little over a year ago when I was about to embark on a 2 month trip to Europe from Australia that I built around a single concert at Anderstorp. The a little over a week before I was due to depart Australia it got cancelled and I had this fear that the money I had saved for years just in case was about to be wasted and I would never see them…
Today, 12 months after I returned from that trip, I am sitting here with a new album and tickets to 5 of the 9 concerts in Australia… lol What a difference a year makes!
