Misc
7,000 fans attended the show in Halle. 9,500 is the max. capacity for concerts. Many people came in late, after the support act. During the gig the hall seemed to be full and cooking, though! No Watercolours in the rain – unfortunately.
Christoffer introduced Joyride with the fun traditional “Eisgekühlter Bommerlunder”. Great choice, I would have been clueless what to play! He speeded it up after a very short time though, so that many people were too slow to recognize.
Great concert in Halle! It took some while to get the grandstands get up, but then it grooved to the max! Marie’s lyric fail in LTYH was sweet, irritated after someone called ‘I love you’. 🙂
Please add Silverblue to the setlist… Lookin forward to the gig in Mannheim 🙂

Can anyone confirm the track list from Halle? I don’t remember… 😛
As I remeber the tracklist was the same as in Hannover, only WITR was missing, so it’s correct the way it is in the article.
Here are some clips from Halle:
“How do you do”

“Fading like a flower”

“Opportunity nox”

Thanks, Dennis!
Is it just me or does Marie seem to have gone to another level?! I feel like she is hitting the bigger notes with more confidence… the ending of LTYH in Munich & Hannover were superb! So very exciting to see her sing like this since she hasn’t been this poweful since the mid 90’s! 🙂
Marie was amazing, better than this summer.. or it’s the effect of singing in closed venues?
Anyway, I can’t wait for the album :O
I was surprised by some VERY high notes she went for! More and more towards the end of the concert. 😀

quite idiotic article..
@Judith
Why idiotic? It’s just somebody’s opinion.
But I have to add that it’s surely not mine.
because it’s not based on facts but assumptions.
Besides that, why does he care if Marie wants to go on with music and be on stage? it’s none of his business and surely nothing that should be on a REVIEW.
This part is the worst, it’s bad enough to ask why Marie goes on singing (stressing herself), but the answer?? But maybe it fits the newspaper type, is it a tabloid?
If I may answer: Because the arguments are simply untrue. Marie didn’t loose weight/power since 2010, her voice sounding like Wåsa bread is simply laughable. He also writes about ear-hurting sound and that the atmosphere was way to cramped to be enjoyable.
I was there, placed on a grandstand and can tell you that the whole arena was standing and cocking at least from Joyride to the end. Would it been if the author was true? An opinion is one thing – the clear intention to revile something another. 😉

I added “Die Glocke” and changed “Westfalen-Blatt” to their new (full) article from today. Nice read!
