Christoffer played ‘???’ before Joyride in Hong Kong.
As I see Unicode characters still doesn’t work in comments here.
The song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgzeJMuzHok
that’s the main song of a famous tv drama (???) which Chow Yun Fat (???) being the main actor when i was little^^
the first line of the lyrics sounds like this “lon-g bun……… lon-g lou”, sing by Francis Yip, haha !
Thk you for the music!
What a surprise the guitarist played a bit of “Shanghai Beach” !
The whole audience sang “It must have been love “, magnificient!
What a memorable night!
Hope to see Roxette next year or the year after!
We also wish ABBA can come but seem impossible!
Is it called Shang Hai Tan (Shanghai Beach)?
If so, those who are interested can check http://www.francesyip.com/ and go to Songs Preview. There you can listen to a snippet of the song.
You are correct! Shang Hai Tan is the pronuciation in cantonese. Shanghai Beach is the actual meaning in English. Actually Shang Hai Tan is a place in Shanghai can be interpreted as “Up, Sea, Beach” in english.
BTW. I only discovered the promotion of the tour to Hong Kong 2 weeks before the concert. I think next time , there should be more promotion on websites like SINA weibo, discuss.com.hk and brothersharpfanclub.com.
Actually, I think at least 10,000 Hong Kong auduience should love to see roxette, considering so many chinese cover version from them:
“You Know I Know” by Alan Tam (The Look)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wltJ9hke6Fs
“It is the script from my heart” by Shirley Kwuan (Listen to your heart)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYV1E2zKPaA
“My Cinderalla” by Leon Lai (Joyride)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghvLhut6o1k
It will be interesting if Roxette invite them to their concert. Surely it will attract more audience ^^.
I still remember the concert in Hong Kong.
