Unfortunately, Roxette have little to no representation by their record company here in the states, so U.S. fans can’t even download their latest single (‘The Sweet Hello…’) because it’s unavailable. That, combined with more and more singles being released “digitally-only” makes it nearly impossible to obtain their music. At least in the past, you could seek out an import CD, even if it meant paying a premium price to do so. All the more reason I am truly grateful that Roxette took the time to remember their American fans during this tour.

Thank you Marie, Per, and the entire crew for a great evening. It truly was a “sweet hello, and sad goodbye”.

I was worried about Marie after she fell down, but she got up really quickly, smiling and laughing. Ironically it happens during “Dangerous”. But I wasn’t worry that much anymore after seeing her after the concert. She looked radiant and happy and greet everyone (even crossing the street to meet us).

I waited 20 years to finally see Roxette – and they simply exceeded all expectations. I wish them the best for the remaining North American shows and look forward to seeing them in the (hopefully not too distant) future.

PS – I finally got my voice back – it’s been years since I yelled and screamed that loudly at a concert.
