SingStar “Roxette ballads” mistakes

SuperCynni from the Netherlands informs that SingStar “Roxette Ballad” pack has got several mistakes. You cannot see the lyrics when Marie sings “there’s air of silence” in “It must have been love” and “the bed’s too big without you honey” in “Spending my time” .

She purchased her copy through the Dutch Sony Playstation Store. Have you noticed that too? Drop a line.

Party Crasher – UK edition

The online version of Robert Thorselius’ The Look For Roxette book published some pictures of Gessle’s “Party crasher” from United Kingdom.

“Party Crasher” was released in the UK on June 15 and the label releasing the album was not EMI/Capitol, but Sony Music.

P.S. It seems like Per knows this website well as he posted info on his Twitter page.

In bold: these songs will be missing on the CD version

So now we know that there won’t be any Roxette live songs on this album and it’s very probable that three songs from London show will be the same as these from Sirius programme. The same will probably happen with Stockholm 1 which will be on DVD.

Live album title revealed

The forthcoming release from European Party Crasher Tour will be called “Gessle over Europe” and it will include live CD plus Stockholm gig on DVD, videos and documentaries as bonus. The double vinyl album will have 3 or 4 extra tracks compared to the CD due to technical reasons. CD/DVD will be released in the end of the summer and the LP edition somewhere in September.

Thanks to tevensso (@ TDR) we also got to know that “Dressed for success” will be from Cologne gig. This means that the city order given by Per (Cologne, London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Stockholm#2, Warsaw, Halmstad, Munich) wasn’t accidental at all.

Work in progress

According to Sydsvenskan’s article and web report, Christoffer Lundqvist, the man behind Per Gessle’s latest albums, is currently working on a new cd with Mulle kindergarten’s children’s choir from Lund in Scania. All lyrics were written by children themselves and the album will be released just before Christmas. All profits will be transferred to help “Sponsor a child” organisation in Peru.

On the other hand, Per has informed us today that Christoffer is busy mixing the live double LP and the DVD (Live from Stockholm). It will be two different things, so most likely there will not be any song from May 9th on the live album.

Thanks to Lionel for information.

Big interview with Per, 2 new Roxette tracks

There’s a big interview with Per on www.gessle.com, mainly about the Party Crasher tour experiences. The band members promised each other to let this tour literary “never end”. Per will fly to NYC to get an US release for the album.

Today I asked Per on twitter if Roxette aim for a whole album or just some tracks. He responded “2 tracks. that’s it for now.” Not exactly the answer I dreamed of! But we’ll see how it continues. Wonder how these songs will be released…

Update: The interview was moved to The Daily Roxette.

Party Crasher-DVD at the end of summer

According to Per Gessle, the Party Crasher-tour DVD will be released at the end of summer all over Europe and contain about 100 home videos. Per also tells that several live tapes from European shows exist and they (Christoffer and Per) are listening to them these days. Furthermore the audio recordings are supposed to come as a live CD in a package with the DVD.
