Competition: win an “early entry” pass for the concert in Barcelona

In cooperation with Roxette’s Management and Live Nation we are happy and proud to offer you the chance to enter the Palau Sant Jordi arena in Barcelona on November 19th, 2011 before everyone else does. This means that you and a couple of other lucky winners will be able to enter the venue some minutes before the doors are open to the general public.  Regular entry will begin soon afterwards.

As usual, to participate in this competition simply write an email to judith @ roxetteblog . com including the following information:

– your name
– your nickname on Roxetteblog
– cell phone number

and answer to these questions:

– The neverending Roxette tour goes on next year, name one of the countries Roxette has planned to visit in February-March.

The winners will be chosen randomly amongst all participants who answered the question correctly.

The contest will run until Tuesday 15th of November 18:00 CET.

Good luck!

Roxette to record the Barcelona show for a live DVD

Per Gessle announced yesterday that Roxette’s concert in Barcelona on November 19th will be recorded for a live DVD. Here is what Per wrote on Roxette Official Facebook page:
It was just decided that the Barcelona show will be recorded for a glorious DVD-release down the road. Bring your banners!!!
The concert was sold-out by end of August and last week it was announced that the concert had been moved to a bigger venue, Palau Sant Jordi.

Additional tickets are on sale on these websites: Ticketmaster.es  | Servicaixa.com | Livenation.es and El Corte Ingles.

The Spanish Fanclub is also organising a party after the concert.
Palau Sant Jordi, DVD, party.. no excuse to miss this concert! It’s going to be a night to remember!

Updated: Barcelona concert sold-out, got moved to bigger venue

Posted August 23: Both Ticketmaster.es and Servicaixa.com websites no longer sell tickets for the intimate Barcelona concert at Sant Jordi Club on 19th November 2011. This means that over 3,000 tickets are gone and the show is sold out. You still have a chance to see Roxette on the Spanish soil – in Madrid on 18th November. Palacio Vistalegre takes up to 14,000 people, so there are still some tickets left.

Thanks to Mariana Gumuzio for this information.

Update September 7: Great news for Spanish fans! Due to strong demand the concert got moved to the much bigger Palau Sant Jordi. This is what Live Nation Spain posted today:

CHANGE OF LOCATION OF ROXETTE’S CONCERT IN BARCELONA! Due to the huge demand for tickets by the fans of  the Swedish band, the concert of ROXETTE in Barcelona will be moved to PALAU SANT JORDI.

The tickets bought so far are valid for both the standing and the sitting areas.

NEW TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE ON FRIDAY 9TH AT 10!

Tickets can be purchased at the links mentioned above and directly at livenation.es.  Roxette played in Palau Sant Jordi both in 2001 and in 1994. The new location is right next to the initially planned Sant Jordi Club. The Club just takes up to 3,000 people, which is very little and was more or less clear that the concert would have to be moved. Palau takes, in comparison, up to 24,000 people, when all the seats are available.
