Per Gessle nominated as Hallandian of The Year again!

It’s the second time Per Gessle is nominated as Hallandian of The Year. Last year’s winner was Janne Andersson.

Last year the competition was decided by voting, but this time an expert jury from MiH, Hallandsposten and Hallands Nyheter will choose the winner. They do this to make it as fair as possible, because nowadays it’s easy to start a voting campaign on social media.

There are 7 nominees and the winner will be announced at MiH’s breakfast gala held in Halmstad Arena without an audience on 17th December, live broadcast on Hallandsposten.

The jury’s motivation for nominating Per: „One of Sweden’s most successful artists and songwriters. A musical genius who has gilded many people’s lives with Roxette, Gyllene Tider and as a solo artist. At prime time, Per is an obvious guest on the TV couch, when he is once again releasing a new album. He opens up when the media stands in line to do interviews with him, one of the world’s greatest hitmakers. Per is faithful to his hometown and still has his base in Halmstad where he relaxes with walks next to his Hotel Tylösand.”

Good luck, Mr. G!
