5,800 people in the audience, that makes the Olympiahalle half full/empty. Reviewers wonder why. The quite late announcement after the Audi gigs this summer in Bavaria could be a reason. In the official German tour announcement Munich wasn’t listed yet.

  3. Just waiting on playing more new songs. I was a bit dissapointed that they still did not play speak to me so far. They should promote their current single also in the concerts. chrash boom bang is an welcomed new one but unfortunately they do not play the whole Sould deep song.Too feel an difference an new opener song would have been better choice in my opinion. Per described in Vienna the will do more new songs but I can not belive it anymore its only a waiting….Well this happens when someone enters 3+1 concerts with hopes of different songs for the autum tour. Last chance for speakt to me live is may be next year when they might come back again to europe . Marie needs really long to learn the texts even in so simple songs like the text of speak to me. compared with crash boom bang they played it in the warm ups several times before they finally played it. So for Speak to me it is may be the same. I`m really angry about the missing audience in vieanna + munic so far. Only 50-75% where full. People lost taste and are going to hear lady gaga or bruno mars ( 12000 against 8000 in vienna…) sad. Roxette can obviously not call many joung fans 15-25. most attenders where 30-45 now so these must be the loyal fan base like me.
    I hoped also that the show would be better with even more screans and video effects in the back ground. The design has been improved a lot, some elements like the lights and stars in the background gave an elegant athmosphere for the ballad songs but for the fast power songs the show is not enough yet. I hope they will contiously improve this too.

  4. Lack of interest makes sense somehow. Only the first 4 German shows were sold-out, that’s when the album was #1 and SGNO was in the Top 10. Since then, the album has vanished off the lists, and the latest singles didn’t make an impact at all (in sales and airplay terms). Time passes by and people have pointed their interest into something else. That’s life. I think having so many shows in Germany was a big mistake, now the momentum of the album is all gone.

  5. I think Raëlian is right. When the 9 autumn concerts in Germany were announced I started to have my doubts. Most of the die-hard fans already went to the first concerts…

  7. I totally agree. 9 additional shows – only at the biggest concert halls – were far too much. And why not playing in smaller locations? Circus Krone in Munich (2000 people) would have been fantastic and LOUD!!!
    But to me this tour seems to be a MONEYMAKER tour 🙁 Ticket prices up to 80 Euros and then having not even video screens for the far away places??? Don’t get me wrong: Roxette’s show in Munich was fab but the stage is still small budget. Another example: I also saw Take That at the Olympiastadium in Munich. That was Take That + Band + around 30 dancers + a stage as gigantic as U2’s 360° Tour stage. They played 2 1/2 hours and the ticket price for standing was 70 Euros. For Roxette I paid 65 Euros – such a shame!
    Going back to the basics (= band is more important than the stage) is totally okay, Mr. Gessle. But next please also include the ticket prices!

  8. As it looks, the remaining Germany concerts will be much better visited, Munich was special. And I read in articles that Vienna was full, just not sold out. Much for important is that ALL reviews for Munich are very positive! Just added “tz”. 😀

    I saw in videos that they can use that light curtain for fast animations as well. Looks cool! I’m curious if they use installed video walls in arenas like they did in SA…

  9. i’m not 15 yet and imma go to rexette’s concet in Tel Aviv, Israel in 9 days and im so looking forward to it ? i wanted to wait for them at the airport but they will probz arrive late and the last train to where i live leaves at 11 so i wont be able to do this 🙁 fml 🙁 anyways, roxette still have young fans and i made lots of people my age listen to them coz im sooooo coool 😀 haha

  10. Haha! If you really wanna meet them at the airport, I advise you to look for flights from Germany already one or two days before the concert. Marie won’t fly at the concert date. 😉

  11. i already have and im pretty sure i know what flight they gonna be in and it’s gonna come after the last train to where i live leaves and i havent got an other way to get back home coz im small and shit :'( i think i might die -.- meh, i wish i could have a drivers license -.- when will she arrive then?:O

  13. It’s disappointing that the shows are not sold out, but when it comes to Germany, I agree that there are too many shows. They have a big fanbase here, but it’s not THAT big, because they can’t win new fans, it’s still the old ones like me, listening to them since I’m 13. When I talk to younger ones around 20 years, they think Roxette would be an independend act or some of them don’t even know the name!!! 🙁

    But I think it’s mean to say they give so many concerts in Germany because of the money. I guess after the Joyride-album they don’t work for money anymore, but only for the fun of making music. And for an international act with 4 number ones in the USA it is absolutely okay to pay 60 or 70 Euros!! Do you want them to be cheap? I don’t. They don’t deserve to be cheap.

    I’m really looking forward to the Oberhausen-show on the 19th! If you take a look on the seating-plan it should be nearly sold out. Yeah! 🙂

    I don’t want them to be cheap. But when playing in front of 6000 or more people and many seats are about 100 m away from the stage you should offer at least video walls.
    Just visit some other concerts to see what’s possible with average prices of 65 Euros (e.g. PINK, Shakira, Take That).
    By the way, German topacts “Die Ärzte” and “Silbermond” cost around 40 Euros! And I don’t think that they are considered as cheap.
    And did you take a proper look at the seating plan in Oberhausen?? The upper levels are far away from sold out. Sorry!
