On Friday afternoon people who bought tickets for Danish Brondby Roxette concert on July 21 were informed that this particular show is cancelled due to “logistical problems”. Here is the message:
Due to logistical problems on Roxettes tour, we will unfortunately have to cancel the concert at the cricket ground at Brøndby Stadium on 21 July. Refund: If your tickets are purchased by credit card via www.billetnet.dk so the money will automatically be returned to your account.
The same day the official statement was published on the Roxette Official Facebook page, where Roxette claim this concert is not cancelled – only postponed due to problems with transport of equipment from Romanian city of Cluj to Copenhagen in just two days.
Dear friends, unfortunately we have to postpone our upcoming Copenhagen-show (Criketbanan, Brondby July 21) due to logistic issues. As you know we’re in Cluj July 19 and it turned out be a nightmare to get all our gear to Denmark in time. We don’t like to do things like this and we’ll try to re-schedule and get a new date asap. Sold tickets will, of course, be re-funded. Have a wonderful weekend, y’all.
It’s the fifth Roxette show being on sale cancelled during 2010-2012 tour – including Anderstorp (2010), Tallinn (2011), Auckland (2012), Asuncion (2012) and Brondby (2012). Two first gigs were happilly rescheduled to other dates, both Tallinn & Auckland cancelled due to Marie and Per’s illnesses. Mexico (2011) & Bogota (2012) were removed from the tour’s schedule before even tickets went on sale.
Well, hust for completion …. Mexico willhappen, most likely in September as it looks like (according to the latest Facebook update from Mr Gee. So that leaves only Auckland, Columbia and Brondby cancelled so far.
