Roxette announced South Africa tour dates for 2016!

When Per mentioned in his update after the Dalhalla show that they ”got exciting news re next year. More details to follow…” everyone was sure it was about new tour dates being announced. All parts of the world where they haven’t performed on this tour so far were guessing if it’s their country next. Now it’s confirmed: next stop is South Africa. Roxette also posted about it on their Facebook page. 4 dates have been announced:

  • Johannesburg: 31st January 2016 Ticketpro Dome (Ticket Price: R425 – R790)
  • Durban: 2nd February 2016 ICC Durban Arena (Ticket Price: R395 – R735)
  • Port Elizabeth: 5th February 2016 Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium Outer Fields (Ticket Price: R510)
  • Cape Town: 7th February 2016 Grand Arena, GrandWest (Ticket Price: R510 – R735)

Tickets go on sale this Friday (14th August) at 9am from Computicket and www.bigconcerts.co.za.

So, the XXX tour goes on and on and on after all. 🙂 If we take into consideration what Per said in the KappAhl interview that the tour ”will cover about 80 dates up until 2016. That is the plan anyway.” then after these 4 dates being announced there are still at least 15 dates to follow. Which parts of the world are next? Maybe North America in March and South America in April-May? How about Asia? Still time for that in February? We have no clue, but exciting period is coming for sure until the next dates are announced again. Until then, let’s be happy for South African Roxers that they get to see the band soon! Woohoo!
