Roxette XXX Tour – Sofia, Bulgaria (Arena Armeec) – June 17 – #39

The last time Roxette played in Sofia was in May 2011. That was a sold out gig with 15000 people in the crowd. According to Per, there were more than 11000 people tonight, but the news on Bulgarian Nova TV informed that this time there were again appr. 15000 fans at Arena Armeec. No matter how many attended the gig, one thing is sure: they were incredibly loud! They had pure fun and never wanted to stop clapping!

Even if Per asked to keep that sun shining, it was a rainy day in Sofia, but it didn’t let the band down. Everyone was in top shape on stage. Many complained about the arena’s poor acoustics and some technical issues, but it seems all could get over it and Roxette kept the spirits high by singing their hearts out and playing all those instruments with full power.

Roxette is back on the road after celebrating midsommar this weekend. Next gig is on Monday (22nd June) in Warsaw, Poland.

European tour is growing by two new concerts

Roxette in Ostrava 2015Two new concerts have been added to a very busy European schedule for Roxette next year.

Marie and Per will play the very second concert in Czech Republic in Ostrava (Cez Arena) on the 15th of June – the same place they toured in 2011 and  they are also going to visit Bulgaria for the second time ever – they play in the capital city of Sofia (at Armeec Arena) on the 17th of June. Tickets will go on sale on www.ticketpro.cz and www.ticketpro.bg respectively.

Pure Bliss for 15 000 Roxette Fans in Bulgaria’s Capital Sofia

Fifteen thousand Roxette fans traveled from all parts of Bulgaria and neighboring countries to watch Sunday night the Sofia gig of the Swedish duo, Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson, part of their long-anticipated world tour.

The crowd went wild as Gessle’s guitar and Fredriksson’s voice were able to produce the same quality of music that they first shared with an adoring world more than 20 years ago.
