Duet featuring Helena Josefsson on Swedish film soundtrack
Helena Josefsson has recorded a duet “My Own Worst Enemy” together with Robert Petersson, lead singer of the Swedish rock group Takida, which will be part of the soundtrack of the Swedish film “Hamilton – in the interest of the nation”.
The film will have its VIP-premiere in the Stockholm on January 10th and will be in the cinemas on January 13th, according to Svensk Filmindustri. The thriller is based on a book with the same title written by Jan Guillou in 1988. Guillou has written 11 novels featuring Carl Hamilton, a fictional Swedish military spy and hero. Several characters in the books are based on actual people. For example, Jan Guillou is the basis of a character called Erik Ponti.
The song is written by Måns Tristan Sohlman aka Tristan. “I got the request from my management to perform this song and I thought it was a great song when I first heard it,” tells Robert Pettersson to Dagbladet,”it has a very typical film sound already in the intro, and part of it could be called rock”.
A video to the song has been recorded as well, which will have its premiere on Monday. A trailer of the film can be found on Youtube:
