100,000 tickets sold Down-Under – two new shows, Perth dates rescheduled

Live Nation Australia & New Zealand has added two more shows in Australia on its website. In addition, the two shows in Perth have been rescheduled and are now end of February.

Nobody really wanted to tour us in Australia, eventually we found someone who was interested. I think we’ve sold more than 100,000 tickets in Australia so far. We’re very surprised by the reception for this tour all over the world. Suddenly we’re playing big arenas all over again, it’s mindblowing.

With these additions and changes the Australian leg of the tour looks like this at the moment:

Feb 16, 2012 – Sydney 1
Feb 17, 2012 – Sydney 2 – sold out
Feb 18, 2012 – Melbourne – sold out
Feb 20, 2012 – Adelaide
Feb 22, 2012 – Melbourne – Pre-sale start on Sept 19th, on sale from Sept 22nd (TV-ad)
Feb 24, 2012 – Brisbane – Pre-sale start on Sept 19th, on sale from Sept 22nd (TV-ad)
Feb 28, 2012 – Perth – moved
Feb 29, 2012 – Perth – moved
