World Tour 2011: Copenhagen, Denmark – July 22 #49

Comment from Per Gessle

Wonderful wonderful Copenhagen! Remember that song? What a splendid act of ScandinavianTogetherness we all took part of last nite (with a little help from the rest of the world). A superb WeatherGod fixed the perfect setting for this b-ful crowd of 25500 to enjoy themselves + this humble group of jesters called Roxette. Thanx every1 for making this such a great evening! We had a blast! Off today. Home turf tomorrow!

  1. 4/5 in Expressen. The highest score ever from a Swedish paper? Nothing online, yet. According to the same paper it was 25000 in the audience.

  2. it was so great to see roxette again..I haven’t them for a real concert since 1994..I’ve seen them at ‘the night of the proms’ but this was so much better and marie was in so much better shape…When i looked in her eyes i could really see the old and powerfull marie…And the band was so great..
The best roxette band ever..It was one big party!!! Respect, respect, respect.

  3. i haven’t seen roxette live at a concert since 1994.
I’ve been to the ‘night of the proms’ but this was so much better…Marie was in so much better shape, it really surprised me…She had the same old sparkle in her eyes as in the old days..And the band was really great, it was one big party…With my deepest respect to helena, who was really great and nice…Best roxette band ever!!!..

  4. Hi Everybody.

I was in the front row at Tivoli, Copenhagen and I think Roxette did a majestic comeback on danish ground after the bad reviews last year. The start with “Dressed for success” and “Sleeping in my car” really got the crowd going. And most of the concert was just really a walk down the road of hits. What really impressed me this night though was Pers enthusiasm and Christoffer Lundquist who really is the engine behind this liveband.

From the bottom of my heart: Thank you for being in my life Roxette.

    Big Love // Thomas
