Rumour: Roxette to play in Toronto

The news seem to have been circulating for a few days now. It is however still not confirmed at this point.

We have received some messages from fans indicating that Roxette are to play at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on August 30, 2012. But again, as mentioned above, the date is still not confirmed and the information we could find was published on ticket reseller websites.

Per Gessle commented in Facebook some weeks ago that they would probably be in Canada end of August and in US in September (Articles no 1, no 2 and no 3).

We will post the official information and the link to the official ticket seller when we receive it from Live Nation. For now we can only recommend to wait a little bit and avoid super expensive reseller websites.

    I am still wondering if there will be more tour dates for europe/germany.

  4. It looks pretty official to me.
    The concert date is actually listed with the date on the venues website. Has been listed there for about a week now. Tickets are not on sale as of yet but once again, this show IS LISTED on the venues actual website along with their other summer shows.

    (9000 in the pavillion section and 7000 on the lawn)

    Ticket brokers have already listed some sections of tickets for sale. These may be subscribers seats. Right now, lawn seats are selling upwards of $118 and mid section orchestra seats are listed anywhere from $159 – $401 each!
    Some BOX sections are also listed.

    Lets get those North American dates listed for US fans so we can know if we need to purchase airline tickets. There is quite a big buzz about Roxette coming back to the USA after a very long time. I saw the “Joyride” tour back in 1992 @ the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia (just outside of Washington, DC) and it was sold out, incredible and ROCKED! Please, please come back to Washington, DC area or Baltimore, MD. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. What is the official Molson’s website?

    I’m pretty sure those dates will be out quite soon – we got okay from LN to publish this, so they are aware that dates start to pop up and better to control communication rather than be suprised 🙂
