Today it is the 25th anniversary of Listen To Your Heart becoming Roxette’s second US No. 1. It’s nice to have a gig on such days to celebrate. Marie entered the stage barefoot tonite again and Mr G left his glam rock jacket behind. Could be because it was a club concert, so it might have been hot inside anyway.
2 songs (Perfect Day and Queen of Rain) were left out vs. the first 3 concerts (thanx for the info, Evgeny Perekopskiy), probably because the show started appr. one hour later than planned. According to some fans, the reason of the delay was poor organization. The concert should have started at 8 pm, but there were still many people outside. They were not let in and had to wait for long in the freezing cold outside until they got access into the venue. Nevertheless, the gig was fab and the crowd was loud, singing along during the whole concert. The venue, Klub Otdykh looked quite cozy and cool.
Per’s says after the show:
NOVOSIBIRSK UPDATE: Yea! Outstanding gig, A little shorter than usual but hey…… an asskickin’ one. Superb crowd. Thanx everyone for singing along. See y’all again!!! Spasiba! /P & Co
Next gig is on Friday (7th November) in Magnitogorsk.
