Dea Norberg’s solo EP “Storm” is out today!

Dea_cover_600 Dea Norberg’s EP “Storm” is out today, October 1st.

The EP, which is produced by Andreas Dahlbäck, was recorded in April 2014. The four songs were written in Southern Sweden. “That’s where I find my inspiration and whenever I have days off, I escape to this place where music and nature are my best friends. It’s about finding the balance in all you do,” she tells in the press release. Two of the songs are co-written with Jens Frithiof.

Dea joined the Roxette world tour in January 2012 and decided to record and release this EP after getting many questions from fans about her solo music. pressbild 4_1So thanks to the fans the EP is now a reality! You will be able to see Dea in the Roxette tour which starts this month in Russia.

New EP or full-scale album by Roxette

Roxette_tp_white_bgAs you could hear it with your own ears in the Australian radio interview with Per, he started writing new songs for Roxette a couple of months ago and they will go to studio in August to record new material before they start rehearsing for the tour in September.

Now Per reveals in an interview with The New Zealand Herald that they are planning to do an EP with 4-5 songs. However, being the hit machine he is, there might be a new studio album coming! That’s what he says:

We’re talking about doing an EP, four or five songs. At the same time, knowing me, I write a lot and if everything goes well, it might as well be a full-scale album.

Fingers crossed for a full album!

Besides this, he tells what the secret behind one of pop’s most enduring relationships is:

It helps that we never had a romance. We’ve known each other all our lives and it’s like a brother-sister relationship. When Marie got ill in 2002, it was a nightmare for all of us. I’m so pleased that she’s still alive. To be able to do these tours again is just amazing.

We are all so pleased, too! Bring on the new album and the tour!

Malin Ekstrand’s solo EP “Nära” is out today

Posted March 11: Malin Ekstrand, whom you have seen singing backing vocals in Roxette’s Summer tour last year, has recorded an EP called “Nära” which is out today on iTunes, Amazon and other digital music stores.

“The music: Open, Warm, Loving, Personal, Happy, Laid Back, Intimate, Elaborated, Playful, Soft, Ingenious.

I am just like anybody with thoughts and ideas, right and wrong. The difference is that I write it down, using music. My life, so far, has been very exciting and I have had many positive surprises.

In addition to my lovely man and my two wonderful children I also enjoy having music as a close friend. Music has always followed me, but in different shapes and genres: pop, rock, funk, soul, jazz, musicals and that mixture of everything that is a genre of its own. All of it has enriched my life and helped me develop. I have been given the opportunity to explore music as a pianist, a solo artist, a choir singer, a teacher, a creator and as a listener. The music in my life changes, as do my goals and myself. My next goal is to always believe in myself.

A good friend said: If a song has come to you it is selfish not to pass it on. These five songs have come to me, you can have them.

/ Malin”

The EP is released by Swedish record label Monophon and has been recorded in I/O Studios.

Update March 30: Malin’s team now offers an additonal purchase possibility:
