“Speak to me” single is released!

“Speak to me” vinyl single was released on Wednesday, May 25th in Sweden. We can finally provide you with some photos of the cover and vinyl itself. Unfortunately, EMI Music did not pay enough attention to proofreading process and instead of correct “original” we got “orginal”, which makes the single really “orginal” item in your collection!

Four new concerts in the World Tour 2011 schedule

EMI Sweden sent out a new press release to the Swedish media yesterday which includes very interesting pieces of information:

– “Charm school” sold with almost 300,000 copies around the world
– Roxette was awarded with golden records for “Charm school” in Germany, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland
– over 220,000 people saw Roxette during their first 26 concerts in Russia, Eastern Europe, South America and South Africa

In addition, four new dates have been added to the World Tour 2011 schedule. No new countries, though.

11.10 Olympiahalle, Munich (Germany)
30.10 Genève Arena, Geneva (Switzerland)
31.10 Hallenstadion, Zurich (Switzerland)

“Way Out” video to premiere this Thursday

EMI Germany informs that the video clip to Roxette’s new single “Way Out” will be premiered exclusively on www.myvideo.de on Thursday, May 26.

MyVideo is an official partner of the German music industry since they pay royalties for the broadcasted material, financed by advertising. The “Way Out” clip was filmed during Roxette’s recent world tour leg in South Africa and has a similar style to the “Run To You” video, which was filmed on tour in 1994. The single will be released on June 10 in Germany and other countries, right before the German tour start in Berlin.
