Changes in the 2011 World Tour schedule

According to the chilean newspaper La Tercera, the concert promoter T4F announced that the concert in Santiago de Chile, which was supposed to take place on April 10th, has been moved to April 9th. The location stays the same, Movistar Arena. The reasons for the change “are just a rescheduling of the tour in order to offer the best day (of the week, now a Saturday) for the concert.”

Tickets will go on sale on December 11th via Ticketmaster, however, an exclusive pre-sale for members of Zona Entel started on Friday and will last until 10th. Ticket prices range $18.000 – $50.000 chilean pesos (ca. 28-77 Eur) plus fees.

There are rumours that further dates in the Latin American leg of the tour will be re-scheduled as well, but we couldn’t find any information on this yet. We will keep you updated.

Roxette to perform in Stockholm?

According to a Swedish TV ad found on a Bulgarian (!) website by Evgeny Perekopskiy, Roxette is going to perform at Sjöhistoriska Museet (National Maritime Museum) in Stockholm on July 20th, 2011 – 4 days before another Swedish concert in Gothenburg. The place is known among the fans as Marie’s Äntligen tour from 2000 and Per’s En händig man på turne 2007 gig were recorded there.

Update November 16: Stockholm has not been confirmed by Roxette’s management.

Roxette in Bulgaria and Romania in May

Another 2 dates on Roxette 2011 World Tour.

This time it’s Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, which gets a Roxette concert on May 29th and Bucharest, Romania, on May 30th (Marie’s birthday!!!). It seems like new concert dates will be available very soon.

Tickets for Bulgaria will be sold via from November 15.

Roxette is no 1 in Poland

The sale for Warsaw gig (June 19th, 2011) has just started today at 10 AM CET. Thanks to huge media coverage, Roxette is no 1 on Top Ten charts at the moment. I do hope they will stay there untill the Warsaw gig will be sold-out 🙂

Official media partners for Polish gig are:
– RMF FM, the most popular Polish radiostation (30% of shares)
– TVN, one of the biggest private televisions in Poland (18% of shares)
– SHOW – a gossip magazine, 445,000 copies sold every second week
– SWIAT KOBIETY – a monthly magazine for women with over 400,000 copies sale
– INTERIA.PL portal – used by 8,000,000 users

So, looking at media partners, future is bright (hopefully!) for Roxette gig in Poland.
