Roxette World Tour 2011 – let’s help with the setlist again!

You may remember that we collected your song suggestions for the summer tour setlist. “Silver blue” ended up at #1 and the song was added to the setlist, even Per introduced the song on the concerts refering to the internet community and the song being our request.

Today, he wrote the following on Facebook: “Thanx for the super-duper-overwhelming response re the upcoming tour. Let’s find a proper setlist!!!”

So start writing down your wishes! It will work the same as last time:

  • you write down your own TOP 3 of Roxette’s songs you would like to hear on the concert(s?) in 2011 in the comments to this article
  • the # 1 in your list gets 3 points
  • # 2 – 2 points
  • # 3 – 1 point
  • in the end of November we will collect all the lists and make the final setlist.

Of course, it would be great if you could come up with some new and never-heard live songs, so we have a better chance one rare song is played live! So grab your Rox-collection and start digging 😉

  7. I can’t believe I’ll finally have the chance to see Per and Marie live!! The last time Roxette performed in Brazil I was way too young to go by myself to the concert. But now it’s a dream come true for me and a good friend of mine, we’re going to the São Paulo concert in April and we just know we’ll have a blast! So here are some songs I absolutely adore and would be thrilled if they played at the concert:

    1. Heart Shaped Sea (My all time favourite song! Ever! An absolutely gorgeous song!)
    2. Vulnerable (Per does a great job as the leading vocal for this powerful, amazing and beautiful balad. I Love it!)
    3. I’m Sorry (This is such a nice, upbeating track! This song holds a record in Brazil: it was played more than 30 times in one single day at a radio station! It only proves it’s a great song and the Brazilian fans enjoy it!)

    Last, but not least, I’d like to thank both Marie and Per for all the inspiration and joy they provided throughout the past 16 years of my life! I love you guys! Keep up the great job!

  28. Looks like by far “The sweet hello..” turns into winner. Did not expected that anyone else will vote for it, that`s why i placed it only on the 3th place. But feels great that i was the first to vote the song from all the 172 people.
    I guess none of us ever imagined that we`ll get to hear it performed live. Now that Mr. Per promised….
