On March 4th, Roxette will perform on another German TV show as EMI Germany confirmed this morning. The show is called “Die Ultimative Chart-Show” and is broadcast on RTL.
The show is nothing but a chart show coming with a certain motto and will be recorded on February 22th in Cologne. Roxette will play their latest single “She’s got nothing on (but the radio)”. Motto of the show is “the most famous synthiepop songs of all times”.
Tickets are still available HERE.
Additional info: The Chart-Show had between 3 and 3.5 million viewers in the last season. Normally the episodes get broadcast again after some months or even years. The show’s concept is a song countdown with videoclips based on the German charts/sales according to the motto. Some celebrities are talking and commenting the songs on a couch, while a couple of show acts perform on stage. Always one of the old charting hits, sometimes a new one as well. Sometimes playback, sometimes live.
Update 28-01-2011: both the broadcast and the recording dates haven’t been 100% confirmed by the production company. We will let you know as soon as we have this confirmation.
So cool they get on TV several times! Hope they do singback! I think totally live is pretty unlikely as it wouldn’t be synth songs anymore. And judging by the show concept I’d say they play The Look and Radio or sort of medley. 😉
They play SGNO as stated in the article. 😉
Yes, I read that. 😉 As a new song. But knowing the show I’m 100 % sure they play their “most famous synthiepop song” as well. We can be happy to get a new song at that show!
Thought the same – usually the artists play their 30 years old song so I am really surprised they get the chance to present their new stuff. 🙂
