Per Gessle announced that “The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye” remake will be released as an EP. This will be a limited edition on blue vinyl and will feature 4 tracks:
Side 1:
The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye (Bassflow main version)
The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye (Bassflow radio edit)
Side 2
The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye (original version)
The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye (T&A demo March 1990)
Per writes “I want one!” – well guess what, me too! This is just awesome. I wonder if Per got inspired with our votings for the setlist for the 2011 tour, where “The Sweet Hello” got the first place 😉 Back then he said: “I don’t know about this Internet vote, there always comes up weird song choices like “The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye” laughs Per. We played ‘Silver Blue’ since that song won. We did it in a new arrangement that was nice.”
We also have an interview with Mr. Bassflow in the pipeline, stay tuned!
I also want one!! Now is maybe the time to get a turn table after all….going retro!!
@HEIDI: Just do it 😉 http://diesunddas.net/bilder/charm-school-vinyl.jpg
Looking forward to the Bassflow-interview! Thanx for making this wonderful stories happen, roxetteblog! 🙂
Nice to see next release of The Sweet Hello, but why not CD? Next vinyl (like STM) would have much tracks (4 vrsns.) than CD singles (only 2 tracks).
Where is CD single of TBTHOG or LLL? Maybe there is a place for this Bassflow Remakes, Demos and of course Live tracks…
