“Small Apartments” is on its way to Europe

Small Apartments official Facebook page informed that the movie is coming to UK Cinemas on March 22 2013. In reply to the question if the movie will also be available in other European countries they say:

We will have a conversation with Sony about other territories in about 10 days time about other theaters.

As we’ve already informed you about it, US cinema premiere of the movie was at the beginning of February (reaching a limited audience), US DVD release date is 19th February. IMDb informs about the following release dates:

  • Italy: 5th March (DVD premiere)
  • Germany: 1st April (DVD premiere)
  • UK: 1st April (DVD premiere)
  • Sweden: 8th May (DVD premiere)
  • Australia: 12th September

Here are the list of all songs written by Per Gessle and used in the film – more or less different vs. the original version of them:
598423_448618278542146_1019885829_n
Franklin’s Intro [new]
– I Have a Party in My Head (I Hope It Never Ends)
Drizzle [new]
Franklin’s Theme [new]
– Shopping with Mother
– Burned out Heart
– Are You an Old Hippie, Sir?
– Making Love or Expecting Rain
– Waltz for Woody
– C’mon
– Week with Four Thursdays
– Something in the System
Warm. Again. [new, English version of ‘Varmt igen’]
– Speedboat to Cuba
– Late, Later on
– Something Happened Today
– Double-headed Elvis

We assume one of the the new songs is a renamed “Kurt – The Fastest Plumber in the West” tune. The soundtrack should also include 7 additional songs, including one performed by Per Gessle – a cover of “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother”. Big thank you to Alejandro Lerin for sharing this news.

According to The Daily Roxette, “Dixi” is also included in the project and the soundtrack will be available on Elevator Entertainment vinyl, CD and digital download.

Hopefully, Per Gessle’s “soon” he wrote on 13th February on Facebook – regarding when the soundtrack is out – is much sooner than his “very soon” he mentioned in December, 2012. 😉
