New Zealand Herald: Roxette promises to return

As today’s online edition of New Zealand Herald informs – Roxette promises to return to NZ.

Swedish pop act Roxette has promised to return for long-suffering fans who were disappointed by last night’s cancellation.

Roxette were scheduled to play Auckland’s Vector Arena but scrapped the show with just 48 hours’ notice after guitarist Per Gessle fell ill on his flight from Stockholm.

Roxette’s manager Thomas Johansson told the Herald on Sunday last night: “Sales were sitting around the 6500 mark for the Auckland gig and we were really pleased with that.” She plans to tour at a later date.

Promoters Live Nation said all tickets booked online or by phone would be refunded. Ticketmaster tickets should be taken back to the vendor with the credit card used to buy them.
