Last.fm website informs that another concert was added to the World Tour 2011 schedule. This time is Kiev, Ukraine at Palace of Sports and the date is December 6th. This will be the second Roxette concert in Ukraine ever, after the first one which took place on March 10th this year. This date is not yet confirmed.
Christoffer Röstlund Jonsson of Aftonbladet has had a pleasure to talk with Tanja Overrath a moment before the Gothenburg concert on 24th July. Tanja comes from Germany and has seen Marie and Per exciting number of 43 times – including gigs with Gyllene Tider and Per Gessle as a solo performer. She has met with the duo about 40 times, but when Aftonbladet meets Tanya and her friends in Gothenburg it is the first time she does it official. Previously, she waited outside hotels and airports.
Nothing compares to my relationship with Roxette. Their music makes me happy. I got goosebumps the first time I received a letter from Per. It was 1993 and he answered me with two personal sentences and two guitar picks. A newer favorite memory is when Marie went up on stage during his solo concert in Stockholm on 10th May 2009. A magical moment and I couldn’t stop the tears.
My parents did not appreciate that I played truant to go to gigs when I was younger. Today, my partner, who is also my boss, is very understanding – he wants Mr. Gessle to invest in his hotel!”
We bet there are people who have seen M&P more times than Tanja, but still – we do love read this kind of articles about fans who do nothing (almost 😉 but going on the Rox gigs.
Cheers from the gig in Tienen, Belgium. 4-day festival, Rox was headlining Day 4! We had a blast! Marie in top shape, great great crowd, beautiful evening and setting! Thanx for showing up, love to come back here.
At the airport in Brussels w/ Magnus, Chris & wonderful Helena. We just realized that after those 12000 ppl showing up last night in Tienen we have played in front of almost half a million ppl since Feb! Wow! Cheers.

Wonderful wonderful Copenhagen! Remember that song? What a splendid act of ScandinavianTogetherness we all took part of last nite (with a little help from the rest of the world). A superb WeatherGod fixed the perfect setting for this b-ful crowd of 25500 to enjoy themselves + this humble group of jesters called Roxette. Thanx every1 for making this such a great evening! We had a blast! Off today. Home turf tomorrow!

Misc
The only concert on this tour where there was no ‘real’ ticket for the entry – only a pass for the Tivoli Park.
Roxette was going to perform in Tallinn on March 18, but the concert was cancelled due to Marie’s illness. New date was picked up – July 18th. Roxette landed in the Estonian capital yesterday and was welcomed by several photoreporters and fans. By the way, BoJo has finished his Metallica project and is back with the Rox gang again!
Per has left few words on the Facebook page on that:
Nice dinner in Tallinn. Walking the streets, saying hello and taking pix with friends and fans. Having a good time. Now it’s time for bed, super show tomorrow, right?
