It’s the second time that Roxette enters Billboard Boxscore chart that shows the concert with the biggest gross sales. As not every concert is reported to Billboard, we get those pieces of information randomly. This time Live Nation decided to go out with two Brisbane concerts. It gave Roxette #2 position in the chart.

The last out of 4 new dates revealed in the 2012 tourbook was finally made official yesterday – Roxette is going to perform at rock festival Qstock in Oulu, Finland on July 28, day after Finnish Kotka festival. It will be the second Roxette concert in the country this year and fourth date in the World Tour 2011-2012.
Last year over 23,000 people attended the Qstock festival.

“Sleeping in my car” and “Opportunity nox” were skipped on the Shanghai concert – as for the second, it was very probable authorities request as for the second – I cannot find any sexual content there… The guys oparating the spotlights apparently had a difficult time: they very often had Magnus in the spotlight instead of Per, and during the solo in 727 Christopher was in the dark all the time. Shanghai is a far more international city than Beijing, which was also clear during the concert. There was a much better athmosphere outside with many street vendors, music etc. Also there was far more singing along from the audience (IMHBL, HDYD, Johride, The Look all went fin, continuing SMT when Marie stops singing was too much asked however…).
Also there was official merchandise inside the arena, but limited to the concert poster ( €1,20 :D) and the Chinese version of the Charm school Deluxe CD (without SIMC live, €8,50). Venue very full, about 90%, so it was around 10.000. Ca 5 meters from the stage to audience, but no barriers whatsoever between the front row and the stage, allowing Per to even shake hands with fans during a song (Joyride). After 1 or 2 he had to stop though, as too many people came forward.

Setlist
The setlist seems to be the same as in Taipei, just that “Sleeping in my car” was skipped. Roxette were requested to slightly change the lyrics for this song the last time they played in China, but they did not agree on that. This time it seems they skipped it completely, probably due to authorities request. There was at least 5 meters from the stage to the first row and according various sources from 60% to 80% tickets sold which means around 8,000 people attending the concert – the most expensive tickets were sold out, as for the cheapest ones – not all..
