Roxette’s “She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio) enters Svensktoppen at #10

Roxette’s first single off “Charm School” finally entered one of Sweden’s most popular radio charts, Svensktoppen, at #10!

Svensktoppen is a program on Sverige Radio (Swedish Radio) which runs on P4 between 11 and 12 CET each Sunday and presented by Carolina Norén.

Three newcomers are chosen each week by P4 music producers based on how often a song is played on P4. The list is created each week with the votes of a randomly selected jury, who can vote for up to 3 songs each week.

Thanks Evgeny for the information!

Per Gessle: “I think there will be more Roxette tours in the future”

I have not listened to the X-mas interview with Per Gessle from P4 Halland yet, but from this what I read it seems the Man promised that there are going to be more tours from Roxette in the nearest future. 25th celebration in 2011 is not the bad idea, what do you think? 🙂

More at P4 Halland. A short translation will come up a little bit later, when I will be at home.

Edit: There is a possibility to listen to the whole interview here (about 5-6 minutes into this broadcast).

Update, December 29: The Daily Roxette offers a summary.

Gessle’s concert on the Swedish radio P4 [on November 14]

I know it’s difficult to think about our idols’ solo careers at the moment when so many things are happening in the rox-world, but I have to remind you that tonight on P4 Live Per Gessle’s Cirkus concert from May 2009 will be broadcasted as well as the new (hopefully) interview with the Man.

According to P4 website, the radio station has recorded both concerts on May 9th and 10th.

LISTEN

Don’t know what is happening, but P4 does not broadcast the concert.

Edit 1: 11-minutes interview with Per Gessle on P4.

Edit 2: From Gessle.com: Something has gone wrong, P4 is not airing Per’s concert, but a Ted Gärdestad tribute.

Edit 3: The concert will be broadcasted on November 14. P4 apologized for this problem.
