Small Apartments OST’s SOON becomes NOW

Have you ever thought that the day of ”soon” will one day become ”now”? Per informs on Facebook that the Small Apartments soundtrack album is finally having a digital release (Spotify + iTunes, etc.) on 18th March, the CD will be out here and there – whatever it means – on 27th March. Exclusive, numbered and signed double-LP is out on 17th April (sort of). The record will be coloured for sure, but Per says he still has to decide which colour to use. However, we think he – of course – has a colour in his mind already. Well, green would definitely fit the sleeve, mainly Matt Lucas’s clogs. TDR says there will most probably be appr. 300-400 vinyls.

Here you have pages of the booklet. Unfortunately, there are too many pics from the movie (which is of course understandable) and too few pics (1) of the musicians. However, good to know that you can check so many websites and social media sites where Mr. Party Pleaser provides you with spiritual guidance.

“Travelling” to be released digitally in US in June

We have had this piece of news “hidden” in the other article about the US tour dates, but I think it’s worth mentioning it in addition: “Travelling” will be released digitally in the United States on June 5th.

“The idea has been to tap into all the positive energy that has boosted the band during this dazzling trip, and channel it into new Roxette music,” says EMI/Capitol a news release.

“In short, an album that, just like 1992’s ‘Tourism,’ captures the feeling of a band on a roll — constantly on the move, snatching inspiration as they go; recording in hotel rooms, studios, at sound-checks and in concert. The result is a fascinating musical postcard with 15 superb songs, most of which are new, some that are revisited classics and others being pearls that for various reasons haven’t seen the light of day before.”

Roxette signs with Kobalt in USA?

According to Music Week, Roxette has signed with Kobalt Music Group in the USA.

Kobalt Music plans to represent Roxette for sync in films, TV, gaming and ringtones and will also cover the release of Roxette’s new album “Charm School” in February.

Kobalt currently represents other Swedish artists like Mando Diao, Nina Persson, The Cardigans and known names such as No Doubt, Slash or Tokio Hotel.

So it looks like good news for our friends in USA!

Thanks Mathew, Dave, Marian and Christian for the information!

Party Crasher-DVD at the end of summer

According to Per Gessle, the Party Crasher-tour DVD will be released at the end of summer all over Europe and contain about 100 home videos. Per also tells that several live tapes from European shows exist and they (Christoffer and Per) are listening to them these days. Furthermore the audio recordings are supposed to come as a live CD in a package with the DVD.
