Roxette In Concert 2025 – Hamburg – 22nd November 2025 – #34

The band had a day off after Berlin and visited Hamburg to perform the 9th show on the autumn leg. 9 shows down, 9 gigs still to come.

There was no support act in Hamburg either, so after the doors opened at 18:00, the band went on stage at 20:00. Barclays Arena is quite a large venue and it had a standing area in front of the stage and seats on two floors, at some point even on three floors. The concert wasn’t sold out, but the arena was well packed.

Per used his German several times during the gig and Lena also talked a bit in German saying „Mir geht’s super!”.

Before performing Vulnerable, Per said they started playing this song on this tour. He doesn’t know why, he probably has just forgotten about it. „Or maybe it’s really bad.” The audience was laughing. Lena said she loves it and we shouted „we too!” Haha.

The band presentation turned out to be very special. Since it was Clarence’s birthday, we thought it would be nice to wish him happy birthday, so we printed some Grattis signs to hold up when Per introduced Clarence. First it was Magnus to be introduced. He said they were in Hamburg already on Friday and they went to Gretel & Alfons, which he thinks is the best bar. Then Per turned to Clarence and we held up our signs. Clarence saw them and thanked for it. Then he started playing the tunes of Neverending Love, because Mr. G is hard to get distracted, he kept saying his usual intro speech. Then finally Per said: „to make things even more special, today it’s his birthday!”. We cheered for Clarence, the band started playing Happy Birthday To You and the audience was singing. Per said „beautiful! He is turning 28”. Haha. Then PG introduced Dea and Jonas and then came Norpan, the new kid on the block. Per went on: „and to make things a little bit more special, it was his birthday yesterday”. So we held up our signs again and started singing Happy Birthday To You to Norpan too. Per said he is also 28. Then Chris played HSV Hamburg die wunderschöne Stadt as the intro to Joyride, but the crowd didn’t really seem to recognize it, so Chris even sang a line into the mic. After the show we found out that Hamburg SV played a match at the same time as the concert was on, so probably all soccer fans went to see the match instead of the gig. Haha. The team lost to Augsburg though. They all should have come to the concert instead.

The whole show was amazing – even if the sound wasn’t the best – the audience sing-along was fabulous and the energy and fun on stage was fantastic! What an awesome Saturday night! So soundwise it’s still Berlin that was the best show so far on this tour leg, but otherwise this gig has just jumped to the No. 2 spot (after No. 1 Valencia) on my list. Sorry, Copenhagen. Haha.

Roxette In Concert 2025 – Berlin – 20th November 2025 – #33

After one day off, the gang performed at Tempodrom in freezing cold Berlin.

There was no support act in Berlin either, so after the doors opened at 18:30, the band went on stage at 20:00. In front of the stage there was a standing area, but in the rounded venue, there were seats around. It looked quite full by the time the show started.

Per showed off his German several times during the gig from greeting the crowd by saying „Guten Abend!” through „Danke schön” to counting in „Eins, zwei, drei, vier” for The Look. That was really cool!

Lena also greeted the audience and said she felt great, she loves Berlin. She also mentioned that her daughter came to see the show, so she felt even better.

It turned out to be an amazing Thursday night. The band was tight and after the audience warmed up, they became very loud and sang along to all the songs.

Christoffer played Berliner Luft as the intro to Joyride.

After the concert we met Per and he said that this show had the best sound on stage for them so far.

Roxette In Concert 2025 – Leipzig – 18th November 2025 – #32

The first of six German shows on this tour leg was held in Leipzig. That was a tough change regarding temperature – from 25 degrees in Barcelona to 3 degrees in Leipzig. You could see Mr. G was freezing in his dressing room 20 minutes before going on stage. Haha. But as Åsa said, soon he got warm.

There was no support act, so after the doors opened at 18:30, we had to wait for only 1.5 hours to see the Roxette gang playing. It was a half standing, half seated setting of Quarterback Immobilien Arena.

After warming up with the first two songs, Per greeted the crowd by saying „Guten Abend!” and then they kicked ass with Dressed For Success. The audience was singing along to both the ballads and the uptempo songs and provided a rhythm by their clapping during many songs. There was a lot of action on stage and it’s always lovely to see how much fun everyone has by playing together.

Christoffer played Sachsenlied (Sing, mei Sachse, sing) as the intro to Joyride.

After we left the building, the party went on in front of the arena where a guy was playing The Look on a guitar. People gathered around him and sang along.

Roxette In Concert 2025 – Barcelona – 16th November 2025 – #31

Without a day off, the gang continued their journey in Barcelona.

Some fans had been queuing since the morning, but most of the people came to the venue 1 hour before the doors opened (19:30). There was no support act, so Roxette went on stage at 21:00.

It was a standing show with hardcore fans in the first rows and the crowd was singing along very loudly during all the songs. Per asked the audience if they are like this on a Sunday, how they celebrate Saturdays. Haha. The whole gang was in top shape and the sound was fantastic.

When Per presented the band and he turned to Magnus, Magnus said he felt great. He bought a brand new hat in Barcelona. It’s colour-coded to go with his Blue Swedish Sex Machine. The crowd cheered for him. All band members were welcomed warmly. Chris played Cant del Barça, the official FC Barcelona anthem as the intro to Joyride. The crowd was singing along extremely loudly. Christoffer even stopped playing at one point and just conducted the sing-along. It was cool!

The crowd went „olé!”-ing before the encore and shouted „Roxette, Roxette” several times before Per and Lena got back on stage to perform Spending My Time.

Roxette In Concert 2025 – Valencia – 15th November 2025 – #30

Valencia has just witnessed the 30th show on the Roxette In Concert tour. Roig Arena greeted us with an amazing facade (check it HERE) and all the people were taking selfies / photos with it before entering the venue.

The doors opened at 19:00 and there was no support act, so Roxette went on stage at 21:00. The Spanish shows in summer were very loud and amazing, so I expected Valencia to be loud as well, but I somehow couldn’t imagine the show could even top Copenhagen. Well, it could! Oh my God! What an absolutely awesome gig it was!

It was a fully seated concert, but we didn’t use our seats too much. Thanks to the hardcore Spanish front row, the whole arena got on their feet. The longtime Roxers in the front stood up already during the first song and the entire audience followed them. People were undecisive during the ballads, so some of them sat down, some of them stayed standing and there was a mix of it too: the ones who sat down in the beginning, but couldn’t keep their asses on the seats and stood up after a little while.

The crowd reactions were fantastic. When each and every song started to play, they reacted with an „aaah”, noticing that a hit came after a hit. They were singing along loudly, clapping and dancing. The gang on stage got pretty fuelled by this and they were even more powerful than in Denmark. You could see all those happy faces on and off stage. Magical feeling it was!

Per greeted the crowd with an „hola!” and said Valencia is a truly wonderful city. This is the first time he is here and he just loves it. The audience was cheering for him. Lena also greeted the crowd with an „hola!” and said she feels great. In Valencia you are always happy. The crowd accepted her warmly.

Before Per presented the band, he asked the crowd if a Saturday night is always like this in Valencia. He has to move here then. Haha. The crowd rewarded it with a longer „olé! olé! olé! olé!”.

Chris played the Anthem of Valencia as the intro to Joyride. The crowd was singing along loudly and released some heart-shaped balloons in the front row. Lena was also playing with those balloons that ended up on stage.

At the end of the show, front row fans held up TACK signs to thank for the concert. The band appreciated it.
