What’s going on with Helena?

Some of you may impatiently wait for Helena’s second album. It is still not clear when it will be released. There are few words on Helena Josefsson herself on her website:

I have been busy, studying in Copenhagen, to become an opticitian like my younger sister! I want to work part-time with it along with music, because as a parent I want to give my family more possibilities. And studying takes a lot of time 🙂 But it is fun to learn new stuff! On top of this we live at my mother´s place because of a large renovation of our flat which is really needed.

About my second album I don´t know, who or when it could be released… But the good part is I am working on more music videos for it with friends, and we have started rehearsing with Sandy Mouche which I enjoy more than ever! Just for fun, like when we first begun playing together. And I am planning for a show with my friend Malin Nilsson the magician.

“Best of Roxette” is the title of a new song book.

CDON.com publidshed some information regarding forthcoming release of a new Roxette song book. The book will be entitled “Best of Roxette” and it will be available to purchase in Sweden from March 22nd or 23rd. It costs 299 SEK.

According to AdLibris.se Martin Östergren is the author behind this publication.

Don’t forget to follow Gehrmans Musikförlag. Now they are working on “Neverendig love” – there will be 30 songs and 11 of them were never published in this form.

The book will include Roxette’s photos as well as the comments from Per Gessle himself.

Roxette to perform on Victoria’s wedding?

The Daily Roxette reveals today that Roxette are very probable to perform on Crown Princess Victoria and her fiancee Daniel’s wedding on June 18th in Stockholm. It is no secret that Victoria likes Gessle’s music since she was on few of his concerts and Per even performed in Victoria’s birthday gala in 2003 (“Födelsedag” & “Här kommer alla känslorna (på en och samma gång)“).

 

The wedding and concert will be broadcasted live on SVT1 and many other international TV-stations.

Will we hear new Roxette single then or a classic hit single?

According to some tweets from Twitter, Swedish Gehrmans Musikförlag should be working on a Roxette song book.

Update: @joroxer The new #Roxette book will include their singles. 30 songs, about a third not published as #sheetmusic before.
