Christoffer turns 40, ready to start studio works for ‘Roxette 2010’.

Christoffer Lundquist will celebrate his 40th birthday this Saturday January 16th. Right now he’s working with coleagues from Brainpool and an american director Shakina Nayfack on the new arrangements for songs from his Junk Opera, that will be premiered in New York soon. Works will finish January 23rd. Last week in January will Per Gessle and Clarence Öfwerman arrive to The Aerosol Grey Machine Studio to join Christoffer and start studio works for new Roxette album. Works will continue at least ’till midsummer when Roxette will probably move to Stockholm to mix new material. Per told in several inteviews that new album should be ready before Christmas 2010.

New date for “Hitlåtens historia” premiere

The mighty Swedish Television, SVT, will premiere its new series “” (“Story of the hit”) with the fabulous fairy tale of Roxette’s “The Look.” This broadcast is on January 16 with repeat on January 20. SVT1 is the channel. And yes, it’s quite good

The programme will last for 30 minutes and will start at 21.45 CET.

“Hopefully the new album will be realeased before the next Christmas”

Per Gessle gave another interesting interview in Swedish for Lotta Brome from P4 Extra the last week. In this short talk he releaved that the new Roxette album should be released before Christmas 2010 and that Roxette is in the middle of recording at the moment. He also admitted that Marie is extremly motivated and sings ‘bloody fantastic’. They also decided for simplicy and pureness while recordings and a lot of duets.
