As a reaction of the premature single release last friday the first music websites and blogs already posted initial reviews of Roxette’s new single. Here’s some excerpts:
The song sounds like classic Roxette with a modern twist. With an amazing sense of melody and the unique mix of Marie Fredriksson’s and Per Gessle’s voices, She’s Got Nothing On has the potential to be the biggest single from the duo since “Joyride”, their last Canadian number one hit in 1991.
As for us, well we just think it’s a good song really! … Retro guitars and huge drum beats are mixed up in a pop mould, and it gives the song a sugar coating that would make any pill easier to swallow. Melody wise, the chorus is very Roxette – soaring and anthemic.
… a return to form for the Swedish hit makers. The soaring vocal melodies are what one would expect to hear from a band that created some of the biggest hits of the 80s and 90s. If promoted properly, “She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)” could be poised to garner the band a whole new audience of music fans.

Hopefully the label also gives the pair another shot in the States, as well, with “She’s Got Nothing On”, because if Per Gessle’s composition proves only one thing, it’s that he’s still at the top of the game when it comes to Swede pop perfection. We think Roxette are still looking sharp. What say you?

The Website ‘Pop In Stereo’ is possibly the first to review the new Roxette single after it’s leak on the internet yesterday. The single has received both positive and negative comments from fans around the world, but it predominantly seems all positive and fans seem in high spirits that Roxette are back again!
The review of the single which was published on their website yesterday on New Year’s Eve, talks about the new album ‘Charm School’ and where the album has been recorded and who is behind the production of the album as well as giving the release date.
As for the single, it gets a big thumbs up from the reviewer in which they describe soaring vocal melodies and say it is what you would expect to hear from a band that created some of the biggest hits of the 80s and 90s. They also say if the single is promoted properly, ‘She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)’ could be poised to acquiring Roxette a whole new audience of music fans.

I was informed today that Radio ZET, the New Year’s Eve Party media partner, will broadcast this show live on its site. So all international fans who are eager to listen to Roxette on the New Year’s Eve day will be able to do so online. You can even download an iPhone app and listen to Radio ZET through your phone.
Unfortunately, Polsat TV has no official online broadcast.
