Rumours: First pictures from Udd’s video

Mats Udd, on his own blog site, published some photos from the making of the “She’s got nothing on (but the radio)” video. On December 21st, the second day of the recordings, Mats posted 4 photos – on that Tuesday “the story part” was recorded. It is unknown if these photograpies are some scences from the video or just the people behind this clip.

Per Gessle has informed us today that he just got hold of the first version of the She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)-video clip and that it looks promising. The premiere is schedule on January 7th.

Expressen’s celebrities of the year: Roxette in TOP 30

Every year Swedish tabloid Expressen ranks the most important Swedish celebrities of the year. In 2009 Per Gessle was on the 33rd position and Marie was 84th. This year, thanks to the royal wedding and small summer tour, Roxette was ranked as the 23rd celebrity of the year in Sweden.

We hope you had a lovely Christmas break. Only 4 days are left in our Roxette World Tour 2011 competition – December 31st is the deadline. You can choose max. three songs that you would like to hear during the forthcoming concerts. Of course, we skip the big hits and concentrate on those less known pearls. In fact I would like you to choose only these tracks that were NEVER performed live before. It was you, dear RoxetteBlog.com readers, who managed to place “Silver blue” on the Roxette’s 2010 playlist. Marie and Per are still interested in your opinions. Rehearsals start in February, but now it’s the last moment to vote.

I have counted almost 180 votes so far and results are quite interesting. If you haven’t voted yet, do it know. And yes, we are going to do a second part of voting after the “Charm school” album’s release.

Roxette’s official website got relaunched

Just in time for Roxette’s new single, album and tour, the official site www.roxette.se got relaunched. The website had been under the previous design concept for roughly five years. It shared the basic concept with all other official Per Gessle homepages and had been launched with Per’s “Sun Of A Plumber” album in late 2005 (as far as I remember). Now it appears to be a standalone website, the other homepages remain unchanged so far. Check out the new content and functions! The site features new and improved pages for news, biography, discography, lyrics, gallery, newsletter, webshop (via bengans.se) and contact adresses, embeds Per’s latest Twitter messages and links to the merchandise store, Gessle/Roxette forum, Snowish, Twitter and Facebook pages. Note that it’s the Roxette Facebook page, not Per Gessle Official. So it looks like Roxette will control that (so far passive) page soon as well.
