World Tour 2012: Gdansk/Sopot Audio Bootleg

by

cd_booklet

So far we have got several audio bootlegs from this year’s leg of the mighty Roxette tour – including Adelaide, Melbourne, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Birmingham, Dublin and San Francisco. But with this new release it’s a little bit different thing. First of all – for the first time you get one concert recorded by three people from three different perspectives (sitting, in the crowd and outside of it). We weren’t able to pick up the one that represents the finest quality so we have decided to go out with all three recordings done by Slawek (known from his great work for Gessle Over Poland and Warsaw 2011 DVDs), Damian (who is passionate with recording various gigs on video) and Nikodem. Blanka is once again behind the cover and booklet for this release. Secondly – our audio bootlegs are always previews of video releases that will surely pop up somewhere in the next year. Thirdly – as we earn nothing, we share it for free.

Small Apartments release date

by

According to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s press release, 11 months after its official premiere on the SXSW Film Festival in Texas, Jonas Åkerlund’s “Small Apartments” movie – for which Mr. Gessle has done the soundtrack based on the Son of a Plumber vibe – will finally be out in February, 2013. It will reach a limited audience, though, as it will appear in theaters in selected markets beginning 8th February via Tugg.com. Here you can check how tugg.com works.

The 97-minute-long movie will also be available on DVD from 19th February. DVD will include 2 bonus materials: “How To Build A Gravity Bong” & “Small Apartments: Behind The Scenes”. As Amazon.com informs, it will be a Region 1 DVD (US and Canada only). Language: English; subtitles: English, French, Spanish; dubbed: French. DVD can already be pre-ordered.*

What about the soundtrack? Good question. Will it ever be (physically) released? Hope we get some news on that soon.**

*According to Amazon.de, the DVD will be available for other regions, too, with the following subtitles: Italian, English, Arabic, French, Greek, Hindi, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, German. (Thanks for the info, Daniel Kühn.)

**According to The Daily Roxette: “The soundtrack to Small Apartments will be released on EMI Parlophone and “very soon” according to the writer of the music. There’s also whispers about vinyl…”

Drinking wine and listening to “Die ultimative Hit-Kollektion” [photos]

It’s been a while since we’ve done our last update. Obviously, it’s all because of those two bottles of wine we drink to our daily meals every now and then since November 1… if you feel like sharing your thoughts on the taste, please do this in the comment section below.

In this very meantime between “the next big things” such as the live Rox DVD, solo albums, new tour announcements, Oliver Zimmermann sent us 7 pictures of the low budget release called “Die ultimative Hit-Kollektion” from EMI Germany.

If you’ve started planning Christmas presents for your parents, we have one recommendation – wine is a better investment.
