Two months ago somehow almost all the official videos of Roxette were set to private at emimusic channel on YouTube. They kept only 6 of them public. We were a bit worried about losing all the videos and the view counts of them and of course, we were surprised that it could happen after Warner Music Sweden took Roxette over. Even Per stated:
We are just as surprised as you are!!! However…we’re working on it!!!!
It seems the negotiations came to an end, since the videos are set back to public. Woo-hoo! During these 2 months both IMHBL and LTYH got more than 3 million views each. Amazing, isn’t it?
Time to choose your favourite songs from “Have A Nice Day!”
This time “Wish I Could Fly” and “Stars” are excluded. “Anyone” was a single but only played live during the “Room Service” tour in 2001, so we decided to leave it in.
In case you are wondering, we will have a poll to choose the top 3 (or 5?) singles and maybe one with “rarities”: b-sides and other rare tracks.
And talking about setlists, do you know the website Setlist.fm? It contains setlists of many many concerts and artists and some interesting statistics too, here’s the page for Roxette. If you click on the title of each song you will see a list of concerts where the song was played. I haven’t checked the quality of the inputs, though.

The PLECtionary has been updated with some more Rox world related guitar picks Sandra Knospe got hold of during the past months. The update includes some more colours of the Night Of The Proms plectrums, some Overkill picks of Micke N-S, Jokke Pettersson’s pick from the Marie Fredriksson tour, as well as a new section called Fun Picks where you’ll find the Gyllene Tider cartoon plecs and the Leif’s Bar & Grill pick. We thought about giving away 3 plectrums: a blue Roxette / Per Gessle 2010 guitar pick, a Gyllene Tider 2013 cassette pick and a Soldans på din grammofon Gessle pick from 2013. 2 of these plecs are extras in Sandra’s collection and 1 of them is an extra in Judith’s collection.
