On March 4th, Roxette will perform on another German TV show as EMI Germany confirmed this morning. The show is called “Die Ultimative Chart-Show” and is broadcast on RTL.
The show is nothing but a chart show coming with a certain motto and will be recorded on February 22th in Cologne. Roxette will play their latest single “She’s got nothing on (but the radio)”. Motto of the show is “the most famous synthiepop songs of all times”.
Tickets are still available HERE.
Additional info: The Chart-Show had between 3 and 3.5 million viewers in the last season. Normally the episodes get broadcast again after some months or even years. The show’s concept is a song countdown with videoclips based on the German charts/sales according to the motto. Some celebrities are talking and commenting the songs on a couch, while a couple of show acts perform on stage. Always one of the old charting hits, sometimes a new one as well. Sometimes playback, sometimes live.
Update 28-01-2011: both the broadcast and the recording dates haven’t been 100% confirmed by the production company. We will let you know as soon as we have this confirmation.
After 20 years Roxette will finally take part at the German TV show “Wetten, dass..?”. On February 12th, Roxette will perform a Greatest Hits medley at the show which will be broadcast from Halle. The show is on German channel ZDF and the biggest TV show in German television – around 8-10 million people usually watch the programme.
Unfortunately, tickets for this one show are already sold out.
