The Per Gessle Archives and the books entered the charts

The Per Gessle Archives beauty box entered the Swedish album charts at No. 7 and the Swedish Per Gessle book, Texter, Klotter & Funderingar. Den Svenska Delen entered Bokus’s charts in culture category at No. 14. The English book, Songs, Sketches & Reflections. The English Part is not yet on the charts, but let’s see what happens next week.

If you are still hesitating about buying any or all of these 3 gems, don’t think any further! They are so worth being bought! Check them out e.g. at Bengans, Ginza or CDON!

Great news. If you count the number of actual CDs sold last week the PG-Archives sold TEN TIMES MORE than the rest of the Top 10 combined. Unfortunately the CD box counts only as ONE CD…. /P.

Which Roxette songs would you like to hear live? #12 and final!

rox-rehearsalAs soon as we got to know that Roxette would embark on a world tour this year we started a poll for all of you to choose those songs that you would like Roxette to play live – and haven’t been played live at all or not for a (very) long time. We have run 11 polls since May!

This week, Per and Marie and the band started rehearsing for the tour, which starts this month (! time flies, huh?) in Vladivostok (RU) and, if everything goes as planned, will last until 2016! Per posted this picture and this message on Facebook today:

Fru Nordin Vitt wine out in the stores today

Starting today, The Per Gessle Selection has a new wine in the collection: Fru Nordin white alcohol-free wine (0,5% alcohol). “One should be able to drink something tasty and good even if you have to drive or you don’t want to drink alcohol for any reason,” says Per Gessle in the press release. You may have heard this name before – “Fru Nordin” is a track in Per’s album “En händig man”.

The wine was done in cooperation with the wine maker José Maria da Fonseca (Portugal), who is also behind the known wines Periquita and Periquita Reserva. The wine is produced using a new technique called spinning cone column.

Fru Nordin will be available at Systembolaget (article number 1915, 55 SEK) but also at ICA Maxi Flygstaden and Högskolan (Halmstad). Initially, the wine was supposed to be called “Klunk” but the name was changed due to problems with the rights on the name. I think “Fru Nordin” is a nicer name anyway. Fru Nordin rosé and Skumpa are in the works. More info soon!

Dea Norberg’s solo EP “Storm” is out today!

Dea_cover_600 Dea Norberg’s EP “Storm” is out today, October 1st.

The EP, which is produced by Andreas Dahlbäck, was recorded in April 2014. The four songs were written in Southern Sweden. “That’s where I find my inspiration and whenever I have days off, I escape to this place where music and nature are my best friends. It’s about finding the balance in all you do,” she tells in the press release. Two of the songs are co-written with Jens Frithiof.

Dea joined the Roxette world tour in January 2012 and decided to record and release this EP after getting many questions from fans about her solo music. pressbild 4_1So thanks to the fans the EP is now a reality! You will be able to see Dea in the Roxette tour which starts this month in Russia.

I had the chance to listen to the album and I love it! The songs are very inspiring, relaxing, you feel the connection Dea has with nature and Dea’s creativity. The combination of all instruments with Dea’s voice is captivating. I interviewed Dea last weekend, interview will be published soon!
