Marie Fredriksson sings at the Swedish royal wedding

We got to know a couple of days ago that Marie Fredriksson and her husband Mikael Bolyos would attend the wedding of Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill today in Stockholm, but we were all surprised when Marie started to sing at the wedding ceremony.

She sang “Ännu doftar kärlek”, with Micke on the piano.  The whole performance was very beautiful and touching. See by yourself!

Bolyos family no longer online

Just a short note while surfing the net:

Though a new Marie Fredriksson album (and maybe tour?) seems to arrive this or next year – at least this is what the rumours say so far – the two websites Mikael Bolyos and Marie Fredriksson used to promote their releases, are not online anymore.
The domain bolyos.com, which Mikael used to promote his own solo album “A family affair” in 2007 has a new owner and is now used by Austrian estate agent Peter Bolyos (probably a relative of Mikael).

The domain maryjane.se – used for several releases of Marie Fredriksson – now is a blog, filled with articles of a Swedish guy called Erik.
So, the interesting question is: Which new domain will there be when Marie’s album is out – probably mariefredriksson.se?

Marie Fredriksson at the City tunnel opening

Marie Fredriksson and her husband Mikael Bolyos performed “Tro” at the opening of City tunnel in Malmo today.

Marie and Mikael to perform on Citytunnel opening

Marie Fredriksson will perform together with her husband Micke Bolyos at the inauguration ceremony of Citytunneln, a 17-kilometer rail link between Malmö Central Station and the Öresund Bridge. As the grand finale, HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden will officially open the tunnel for traffic. The ceremony will be held next to the Malmö Central Station on December 4 and is free to the public.

Other artists performing at the ceremony include Nisse Hellberg, Timbuktu, and Ola Salo.

Marie Fredriksson: “They loved our show” (18.06.2010)

Marie and Per were interviewed by Aftonbladet journalist just after the performance on June 18th. “It was just wonderful to sing “The Look”, tells Marie to Aftonbladet, “Victoria and Daniel were both so “ooh”, they loved it. Victoria is absolutely fantastic and I am so happy that she likes us”. Per also thought it was a “top class performance”and that it was a fantastic evening, “now I’m going home to recharge myself with a little sleep,” he tells Aftonbladet.

Marie Fredriksson and her husband were also asked by Aftonbladet TV reporter about their impression of Victoria and Daniel. Marie answered that she is happy that Victoria likes Roxette so much and Daniel’s reaction for Roxette’s performance was just “ooh”. You can see pictures of the performance on Aftonbladet.
